At Halstow we are committed to full and open communication with parents. Often, we will telephone you or speak to you before or after school, however there are other ways that we may communicate with you. Please visit the 'Contact Us' page to find out how to contact the school.
PARENTS’ EVENING:
We have one formal Parents' Evening in the Autumn and Spring terms, and an informal open evening at the end of the year to recognise and celebrate children’s progress. Parents’ evenings are an opportunity to talk about your child, including how they have settled into class and to discuss their learning. There will also be an opportunity for you to see your children's learning.
ONLINE PAYMENTS AND COMMUNICATION:
The Compass Partnership of Schools has partnered with Bromcom to run our schools’ management information systems. This has enabled us to deploy the My Child At School [MCAS] online portal, enabling you to communicate with your child’s school via a web browser.
My Child At School provides:
• Communication facilities to improve contact between parents and schools
• Option to pay for trips, music sessions and book parent evenings when they are due
